Functions of the Government Communication Unit
- Coordinate meetings between the Ministry and media outlets regarding the dissemination of public information on all Ministry-related matters;
- Coordinate all communication matters within the Ministry.
- Produce media programs, distribute information, and various publications to educate the public on policies, laws, programs, exhibitions, and reforms initiated and implemented by the Ministry;
- Develop and implement the Ministry's Communication Strategy;
- Coordinate and prepare news content and articles related to the Ministry and distribute them through media outlets, including newspapers, journals, radio, television, and social media platforms;
- Update the Ministry’s website with information on the implementation of sectoral departmental activities.
- Communicate with the public and the media and handle various stakeholder concerns related to the Ministry, published in newspapers and social media;
- Participate in the preparation of various sectoral communication materials for workshops and meetings;
- Coordinate and prepare Ministry publications (both print and electronic), including newsletters and journals; and
- Archive various Ministry-related information.
